I had a blast dining here! It was my first time trying skewer hot pot and I would totally come back. The place fills up so we came at opening to avoid the wait. You order the broth base with the server and grab what you want to put into your hot pot from the fridge. A note on the spiciness level, the mild here is quite spicy. It feels like the equivalent of hot or very hot in most other places. You can get veggies, meats and other food to add to your hot pot from the fridge. The prices are based on the color of the containers. Skewers are in the fridge too and they're $0.50 each. Some skewers have 2 sticks so that's $1.00 each. You can also order more meat and other food options from the server or through the app but we didn't find it necessary for the most part. We did order the rice cake dessert which was wonderful. I think it's so cool how they calculate the number of skewers for the bill. They take a pic and software counts it instead of a human, makes sense! I highly recommend coming here, and with a big group so you can try more variety!

Out of all the restaurants that have occupied this very building NICE @ MEET U easily became a great go-to hot pot restaurant. Back in the olden days when this used to operate a conveyor belt style Hot pot which was a nice and inexpensive hot pot to eat. This has to be my favorite style of hot pot which allowed us to add not only the traditional treys of food, but items in skewers. at 50 cents per stick which could add up quickly. There are fresh vegetables which you may also grab for a set price determined by the container it is presented in. I like the Enoki wrapped with beef and the fried bean curd which cooks quickly but soaks up all of the broth which hits the spot. The meat platters came out quickly and neatly presented, and the meat quality was great! I like how they have several different options to order. The weirdest one i tried would have had to be the tender beef which comes with an egg that you're meant to mix i. I think the first time I cooked it incorrectly as the beef was chewy and hard to swallow. The second time I cooked the meat until it was a pale grey almost white shade which was tender and easy to chew. I enjoyed my meal so much that i came back. a second time within a week to show one of my girlfriends which then proceeded to show her boyfriend. seemingly as if it was the circle of life (RIP Simba's dad). on the other side of the kiosk where you may create a customized sauce for dipping sits right next to trays of fruit, jelly, and (my favorite) deep-fried sesame balls. if you've got a sweet tooth and were not impressed by the selection of sweets at the sauce bar, they do have a small menu to choose from. If all that wasn't enough don't worry, if you are not satisfied with just that there's an abundance of great places to fulfill your sweet tooth cravings.

Love the diy process of picking and choosing hot ingredients! I enjoy being able to see the ingredients in the fridge before choosing it so you can see how fresh the items are and exactly what you're getting. We enjoyed the trays more than the skewers themselves, the portion sizes were great. The appetizer/ sauce bar was good as well and had mapo tofu, edamame, seaweed, salad ect. Just an FYI the spicy beef soup is VERY spicy even for mild. Next time we'll likely select very very mild.

I like their sauce bar. It stood out to me the most. Maybe it's because they have the most appetizers compared to other hotpot places I've been to. There's a menu for ordering ingredients, but the majority of ingredients are self-serve. You'd have to go to the fridge to pick them out yourself. They have signs for pricing right in the center for easy reference. Since it's not AYCE, it does get pricey, but it's comparable to other similar restaurants. Servers were very fast and helpful though. They kept the same interior as the old hotpot place that was here previously, so the ambiance was pretty nice.

If you're a big fan of hot pot and skewers, definitely check this place out! I came here on a Friday night around 6 PM and was seated right away. There was a long waitlist when we left so I recommend going at this time if you want to avoid the wait. Walking in, I liked how spacious and modern the place was. The place has a self service ordering style where you get to choose from a variety of items in their fridges. They also have meats from the menu if you aren't interested in skewers. We got the bone broth and house spicy beef tallow soup. The house spicy beef tallow soup was good but was still really spicy even though we got the lowest spicy. The bone broth was refreshing and helped cool down our mouths from the spicy broth. The skewers and vegetables were like any other hot pot place but I really enjoyed the concept!

Nice 2 Meet U is a pretty cool restaurant that combines skewers and hot pot. We came on a Friday around 6:30 PM and it wasn't fully packed. By the time we left, the restaurant was pretty packed so definitely come before dinner rush! The skewers were self-service, priced at 0.50 each. Additionally, there were various sides like veggies and noodles in the fridge, each with different sizes and prices. The spicy beef tallow broth, that was ordered as "very mild", was EXTREMELY spicy. I was dying. We also opted for a side of sliced beef. A highlight for me was the side bar offering a variety of sauces, sides, and desserts.

Went here with my classmates to try out their hotpot. The restaurant is a good size and easy to find. The decor was very simple but nice. We were seated immediately and the people who work there were very nice and really helped us out since it was our first time. It was really cool how they had everything easily accessible. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because I wasn't too impressed with their dessert bar. It was just ok. The food itself was great, we even ordered a few things off the menu. Mind you the skewers are 50¢ each. If the meat had two skewers then it would be $1. Here are some of the things we ordered: Beef skewers: many different kinds like with cilantro, chilli, plain, marinated Pork skewers Variety of veggies and quail eggs Shrimp Those were all in the refrigerator self serve. Here is what we ordered off the menu: Brown sugar rice cake: absolutely delish...I love rice cake in general and they got this right Ube pie: first time having ube this way and I must say I loved it Fried pork: totally worth it with the dipping seasoning...yummm All in all I would totally go back and you should try it out if you are in the area.

Interesting experience. It was more of an order your broth ($15) and get your own food kind of place. Def seems like the type of place to come with friends and have fun, not to get full. We got an order of the beef tongue and brown sugar rice cakes for dessert. I really liked the chicken feet and sides as well as the complimentary dessert they had. As for the skewers, they said the skewers were $0.50 each but they were more like $1 each since most items had two skewers to them for one piece. Any bigger items like noodles or veggie range from $4-8 in the boxes/bowls. Our bill came out to be ~$50 per person. Overall a relatively pricier place than I thought since they were advertising $0.50 skewers.

Super unique hot pot experience. Pricing is controversial but I'd say my party of two got very full and paid a reasonable price. This spot charges 50 cents per skewer, with each skewer averaging one piece of meat, and other skewers having 1-2 pieces. Some skewers, such as the enoki wrapped beef, had two skewers in it. Lots of tray options are available with designated prices. The AYCE snack and sauce bar was $2.50 per person. Food was super flavorful, definitely one of the better hotpot broths I've had. My party and I ate 31 skewers, a side of veggies, and a side of noodles + snacks from the bar. It totaled to about $25 per person. We were super full and had leftovers to bring home. The soup base itself is around $15. Service was pretty fast despite it being busy. We came on a Friday dinner around 7 PM; it was super packed. We had to wait around 15-20 minutes to be seated. Ambiance was pretty nice, but I will say it felt a bit cramped because of how busy it was.
